Crops straw dryer is applied for drying barley straw, oat straw, wheat straw, rye straw, straw, sorghum straw, corn straw, potato vines, beanstalks ( including materials like soybean straw, broad bean straw, pea straw, cowpea straw, lupine straw, peanut vine, etc.) According to the characteristic, production capacity, applying requirement, cost control, operating convenience of each biomass material, our company optimizes the drying technology.
This equipment is of a huge production, high efficiency, and energy saving, small floor space. Compared with common dryer machines, it saves energy by 30%-50%, thus saving energy and drying cost to the maximum.
Materials:Widely used for drying crop straw, beanstalks, sawdust, wood chips, pasture, wood shavings and other materials.
Application:Drying agricultural straw for biomass energy and feed processing.

Material Flow:
Crushed materials with 35–55% moisture are fed into the rotary drum for downstream drying. As the drum rotates, internal lifting plates continuously raise and scatter the material, moving it forward in a spiral path. Through the triple-layer drum structure (inner, middle, and outer layers), efficient heat exchange occurs between the material and hot air. Dried material moves quickly toward the discharge end, while wetter material remains longer for further drying. Final moisture is reduced to 12–15% and discharged by screw conveyor. A vibrating cleaning device prevents material from sticking to the drum wall.
Air Flow:
Hot air generated by the hot blast stove (300–500°C) enters the dryer for heat exchange and moisture evaporation. After cooling to about 55–60°C, the exhaust gas passes through a dust collector for purification before being safely discharged.

One-button intelligent control with automatic parameter adjustment keeps the straw dryer running at optimal condition and ensures uniform, stable final moisture.
Automatic impurity removal and iron separation prevent foreign materials from entering downstream processes and protect pelletizing or briquetting equipment.
Self-insulated drum and optimized lifting plates improve thermal efficiency to over 70%, with exhaust gas temperature lower than 50℃.
Four-wheel drive and compact layout reduce floor space and civil cost by about 50%, while energy-saving hot air furnaces cut fuel consumption by 30% and power use by 20%.
