Bentonite Clay Dryer is specially designed to dry the wet bentonite, and it is one kind of rotary drum dryer, mainly used for the drying of various types of clay mud, such as bentonite, kaolin, aluminum and iron clay. Bentonite is a water-bearing clay mineral material mainly composed of montmorillonite. Because of its special nature, such as swelling, adhesion, adsorption, catalytic, thixotropy, suspension, and cation exchange, bentonite is widely used in various industrial fields. Before being applied in various industries, bentonite must be dried in a bentonite dryer before it can be used. Jiutian® bentonite dryer is produced based on traditional technical upgrading. After wet bentonite enters the rotary drum, it passes through four drying zones. In the guiding zone, the material contacts high-temperature hot air for rapid surface evaporation and is transferred forward.
In the lifting and cleaning zone, lifting plates disperse the material into a curtain to enhance heat exchange. A built-in cleaning device removes material adhering to the inner wall and breaks up agglomerates, increasing drying efficiency.
In the inclined lifting zone, the material becomes loose and low in moisture, achieving full heat exchange until reaching the required moisture level.
Finally, in the discharge zone, the drum has no lifting plates, allowing the dried bentonite to roll smoothly to the outlet, completing the drying process.
