Mineral slag dryer is mainly composed of hot air furnace, belt conveyor, rotary drum dryer, belt conveyor, induced draught fan, cyclone dust collector, bag dust collector (or wet dust collector) and operation control system. The equipment adopts the fair current (or countercurrent) drying process.

After entering the rotary drum, wet mineral slag passes through three main zones. In the guiding zone, it contacts high-temperature hot air for rapid surface moisture evaporation and is conveyed forward by guide plates.
In the lifting zone, specially designed flights continuously raise and disperse the material into a uniform curtain, ensuring full heat exchange with the hot air. Moisture quickly evaporates and is removed by the induced draft fan, reducing the moisture content to below 5% (or lower) and forming a loose, dry state.
Finally, in the discharge zone, the drum has no lifting plates, allowing the dried material to smoothly roll out, completing the drying process.

Special hopper and quantitative feeding system eliminate intermittent feeding and blockage. Non-powered screw disperses slag evenly, ensuring stable feed and high evaporation intensity.
Unique lifting plates and patented layered drying design create a full-section material curtain, maximizing heat exchange and ensuring uniform drying for both fine and coarse particles.
Low-oxygen hot air furnace (<5% O₂) provides stable heat at 700–1100℃. PLC and frequency control monitor temperature, pressure, speed and oxygen concentration for safe, efficient operation.
Dual mechanical sealing ensures airtight operation. Multi-stage dust collection (gravity + cyclone + bag/wet) keeps dust emissions below 30 mg/Nm³, with modular design for easy installation.
