Distillers grains are cereal byproducts generated during the distillation process, typically a mixture of corn, rice, and other grains, contain 60–65% moisture and require efficient drying for storage and feed use.
The distillers grains dryer adopts a mixing drum structure with multi-layer lifting plates to ensure uniform material dispersion and high heat exchange efficiency. It features stable continuous operation, screw conveyor feeding and discharging, and an anti-sticking cleaning device to prevent material buildup.
The system effectively reduces moisture to the required level in one pass, offering high capacity, energy efficiency, and reliable performance for breweries and feed plants.

Wet distillers’ grains from alcohol or liquor production, with moisture content of about 55–65%, are conveyed into the rotary drum dryer. High-temperature hot air generated by the furnace fully exchanges heat with the material, rapidly evaporating moisture. Through continuous lifting and dispersion inside the drum, the material forms a uniform curtain, ensuring efficient and even drying.
After drying, the moisture content is reduced to about 10–12%, and the finished DDGS is discharged through a screw conveyor for cooling, storage, or packaging. The system features high efficiency, stable operation, and preservation of nutritional value.
