Fresh chicken manure (typically 60–80% moisture) is fed into the rotary drum by a screw or belt conveyor. Inside the drum, lifting plates continuously raise and disperse the material, forming a material curtain that fully contacts high-temperature hot air. Through continuous heat exchange, moisture rapidly evaporates and is carried away by the airflow.
The dryer is mounted on a mobile chassis, allowing flexible on-site operation without complex civil construction. After drying, the moisture content is typically reduced to 10–20%, producing a stable, odor-reduced organic fertilizer material. Exhaust gas is treated by a dust removal system before discharge, ensuring environmentally friendly operation.
