Palm fiber is a byproduct or residue produced during the process of obtaining crude palm oil from palm fruit by screw pressing. It has fibrous properties and its color ranges from dark yellow to light brown. The palm fiber dryer adopts a drum design. The wet palm fiber enters the rotary drum inlet and is dried during the slow movement. The hot air fully contacts the material in the drum, quickly dehydrates it, and achieves an ideal drying effect.
Palm fiber dryer can dry the moisture content of 30-45% palm fiber, fast drying of moisture content is less than 18% of the finished product. Using wood, straw, nutshell waste (or coal, natural gas and diesel oil) for energy, we use all kinds of wet material for hot air and instantaneous high temperature for drying process, the host transmits with electromagnetic or frequency control of motor speed, and equipped with automatic temperature control device for the process of drying fiber with good color, strength, and flexibility.

Wet coconut fiber with high moisture content is fed into the rotary drum by a conveyor. As the drum rotates, internal lifting plates continuously raise and disperse the fiber, forming a uniform curtain that fully contacts the hot air. Through efficient heat exchange, moisture rapidly evaporates and is carried away by the airflow.
The dried fiber gradually moves toward the discharge end under gravity and drum inclination. Final moisture content is typically reduced to 10–18%, depending on product requirements. Exhaust gas is treated by a dust collection system to ensure clean and environmentally compliant operation.
