Bagasse is the fibrous material left after the juice is extracted from sugar cane, and it is commonly used as biomass fuel or to make paper. Bagasse has a high moisture content and needs to be dried before it can be used. Bagasse dryer can be used in food, feed, chemical fertilizer, chemical, pharmaceutical, mining and other industries. According to the different requirements for the dryer, we have different heat sources. For example, direct heating hot blast stove, indirect hot blast stove, heat transfer oil, steam, etc. This dryer is suitable for drying materials with moisture less than 65%.
Jiutian bagasse dryer adopts high-temperature rapid drying process, which has high heat transfer coefficient, high thermal efficiency and large processing capacity. The bagasse is directly fed into the dryer by the feeding screw, and is repeatedly picked up and scattered by the lifting plate on the wall of the cooling tube inside the drum. The material is in full contact with the high-temperature medium to complete the heat and mass transfer process. Due to the inclination angle of the dryer and the effect of diverting air, the material moves slowly from the feed end, and after drying, it is discharged by the discharge screw, and the tail gas is discharged into the atmosphere after being dedusted by the dust collector.

Bagasse enters the rotary drum for downstream drying. As the drum rotates, lifting plates continuously raise and disperse the material, enabling spiral heat exchange. It then moves into the middle layer for countercurrent drying, where repeated lifting extends the retention time and allows the material to fully absorb heat from both the inner and middle drums, reaching an optimal drying state.
Finally, the material falls into the outer layer, traveling in a multi-loop path. Properly dried material is quickly discharged under hot air flow, while wetter material remains longer due to its weight until fully dried, ensuring uniform and efficient drying.
