The working principle of a wood shaving production line is to process logs, timber blocks, or wood offcuts into uniform shavings through cutting and planing operations, widely used for particleboard production, packaging filling, and animal bedding.
During operation, raw materials are conveyed into the shaving machine through the feeding system. A high-speed rotating cutter drum continuously slices the wood into shavings of controlled thickness and length. The shavings are then transported to a screening system, where qualified products are separated from oversized or fine particles, which are returned for reprocessing. If required, the shavings can be sent to a drying system to adjust moisture content before final conveying or packaging.
