With the acceleration of social and economic development and urbanization, the amount of sewage sludge in urban areas is increasing. Like domestic garbage, if it cannot be disposed of safely, it will seriously affect the living environment. The effective means of sewage treatment is to press and dewater the sewage, and then dry the sludge. The volume of the dried sludge can be reduced by 4 to 5 times. The product is odorless and free of pathogens. It can be used as fertilizer, soil improver and substitute energy, etc.
According to the characteristics of sludge treatment at present, Jiutian Machinery has carried out a series of technical breakthroughs and practices, and carefully developed a horizontal stirring continuous drying equipment with steam as heat transfer medium and heat conduction as the main part. Because the agitating blade is shaped like a paddle, it is called a paddle dryer. The product can indirectly heat or cool the paste, granular, powder, and slurry materials, and can complete unit operations such as drying, cooling, heating, sterilization, reaction, and low temperature combustion. The special wedge-type stirring heat transfer blades in the equipment have high heat transfer efficiency and self-cleaning function of the heat transfer surface.

Application:Indirect drying of sludge with high viscosity and high moisture content.
Wet sludge is fed into a sealed drying chamber containing hollow shaft paddles. Steam or thermal oil flows inside the hollow shafts and paddles, transferring heat indirectly to the sludge through the metal surfaces. As the shafts rotate, the paddles continuously stir, mix, and move the sludge forward, ensuring uniform heating and preventing material buildup.
Moisture evaporates during the heating process, and the generated vapor is extracted by an exhaust system for condensation or treatment. Since there is no direct contact between hot air and sludge, the system operates with low energy consumption, minimal exhaust volume, and reduced odor emissions.
The final product is discharged continuously with significantly reduced moisture content, suitable for disposal or further utilization.
