Jiutian Horizontal Biomass Carbonization Furnace is based on the characteristics of long rod biomass such as logs, wood, straw, and jute rods. It adopts horizontal structure, manual charging, cart feeding and discharging and advanced hot air dry distillation carbonization technology. The unique carbonization combustible gas backburning technology is adopted to make full use of the flue gas generated by carbonization, to meet the heat demand of the carbonization furnace itself, and to greatly improve the carbonization rate. The carbonization rate is increased from about 80% to more than 95%. It is easy to operate, safe and environmentally friendly, has high production efficiency, and can save a lot of energy. It is an ideal equipment for long-rod biomass carbonization. Combined mode of multiple units, carbonized combustible gas is used in series, which can save fuel in carbonization production and improve enterprise efficiency.
Jiutian horizontal biomass dry distillation carbonization furnace is composed of carbonization liner, thermal insulation layer, furnace door, feeding car (small size not configured), combustible gas return combustion pipe, dehumidification buffer tank, burner, smoke exhaust pipe and thermometer, can be optional pre-fired gasifier, flue gas purification device. The furnace adopts the principle of anaerobic dry distillation to remove volatile substances from biomass to achieve the purpose of carbonization of biomass. The carbonization process is completed in four steps: charging and sealing the furnace - preheating and drying - anaerobic carbonization - cooling and charring.

The furnace adopts anaerobic dry distillation to carbonize biomass. Raw materials are loaded, sealed, and heated to 200–250°C for drying and air removal. When combustible gas is generated, it is recycled back to the furnace for combustion, maintaining 300–500°C to complete carbonization.
After cooling below 50°C, the charcoal is discharged. Each cycle takes about 5–15 hours, with 1–2 batches per day. Flue gas is treated to meet emission standards, and multiple furnaces can operate in parallel to improve efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
