Coir pith is the coconut shell fiber powder that is a processed coconut by-product or waste. The processed coir pith is very suitable for cultivating plants and is currently a popular horticultural medium. Widely used worldwide, it is a natural and environmentally friendly product that developed countries are committed to promoting. The coir pith is compressed, the storage space is small, and it is easy to transport, which greatly reduces the cost of storage and transportation.
Jiutian company has developed the special drying machine for coir pith, can directly be connected with the coconut shell opening and sorting machine, coconut coir sorting, desalination, dehydration, drying, and the coconut coir drying process can be finished within 40 minutes.

Pipeline operation, labor-saving, energy-saving and environmental protection, the coconut coir and fiber quality can be guaranteed to the maximum extent, after high-temperature treatment, the coconut fiber and coir is more clean and environmental protection. This production line is the essential equipment of mechanization, scale and intensive production of coconut coir and fiber.
Materials:Widely used for drying of cocopeat, coir pith, coconut coir, etc.
Application:Drying coir pith to improve quality for agricultural and horticultural use.

After being washed and dehydrated with salt, the coconut coir has a moisture content of 50-65% and then enters a coconut coir dryer for further drying. Inside the dryer, shovels continuously agitate the coconut coir, causing it to spiral through the inner, middle, and outer drying layers. The coconut coir is completely dried inside the dryer, with the moisture content reduced to 14-18% (adjustable according to customer requirements). Once dried, the coconut coir is discharged via a screw conveyor. The dryer is equipped with a special device to prevent uneven drying of the coconut coir.

One-touch intelligent control automatically adjusts operating parameters, ensuring uniform and stable final moisture with higher energy efficiency than traditional dryers.
Wet coconut coir is dried from 65–75% to 14–18% moisture in one pass, with material temperature kept below 50℃ to retain natural color and quality.
Optimized lifting plates and self-insulated drum improve heat utilization to over 70%, keeping exhaust gas temperature low and increasing heat efficiency by more than 30%.
Stable four-wheel drive system, compact layout design, and modular dust collection system reduce energy use and overall operating cost effectively.
From solution design to equipment manufacturing and on-site installation and commissioning, Jiutian provide complete one-stop services.
