The copper concentrate dryer can directly dry or indirectly dry the copper concentrate. Direct drying refers to the drying process in which the drying medium contacts the copper concentrate during the drying process. Indirect drying refers to the drying process in which the drying medium does not come into contact with the copper concentrate during the drying process. The wet copper sulfide concentrate is generally taupe, with a particle size of about 200 mesh (74 m). Due to the high metal content and high bulk density, it is more abrasive to equipment. The concentrate produced by the flotation method generally has a W(H2O) of 10% to 15%. When W(H2O) is about 10%, the concentrate is relatively loose; when w(H:O) is higher, the concentrate is relatively sticky. In addition, the sulfide in the concentrate is easy to cause acid corrosion during heating.
