Forage dehydrator is the main equipment for forage pretreatment. It reduces the moisture of forage through mechanical extrusion, prolongs its storage period, and reduces the load of subsequent dryers. How is forage dehydrated?
Forage dehydrators generally use screw extrusion equipment, designed according to the principle of superimposed compression, and mainly rely on the cooperation of the feed box, screw shaft, screen, and tail cone to achieve the purpose of material-water separation. The forage to be treated is evenly transported to the feeding bin of the screw extrusion dehydrator by tools such as screw conveyors. After being squeezed by the screw blades and filtered by the sieve, the water or juice flows through the sieve to the water receiving tray below the machine for collection and then is picked up by the pipeline. The dehydrated forage is output through the conveyor belt.
