Focus on heavy equipment
Coconut coir is a brown organic medium produced during the processing of coconut shell. It has good water retention and breathability, so it is ofter used as a soilless cultivation medium. Freshly processed coconut coir has a high moisture content and must be reduced before use. The main producing areas of coconut coir are Southeast Asian countries, where there are many rainy seasons. Therefore, there is a big market demand for dried coconut coir in Southeast Asia. The main equipment for drying coconut coir is rotary coconut coir dryer, it can quickly reduce the moisture content of coconut coir and is suitable for large-scale coconut coir production.
As a top manufacturer of coconut coir rotary dryers, Zhengzhou Jiutian has many successful cases of coconut coir drying in Southeast Asian countries. Here, I will introduce four of these projects.
Indian customers purchased a set of coconut coir drying production line and a set of coconut fiber dryer from our company for use in their local coconut processing plant. The coconut fiber dryer has a processing capacity of 1 ton/hour and is used to reduce the moisture content of coconut fiber from 45% to 15%. The coconut coir drying production line has a processing capacity of 2 tons/hour. To ensure efficient drying, a coconut coir belt dehydrator is equipped before the drying process. The coconut coir dehydrator and coconut coir dryer work together to reduce the moisture content of coconut coir from 85% to 15%. The heat source system for the dryer is a biomass hot-air furnace, and the fuel is locally common coconut shells and rice husks, so the energy costs is low. The production line runs continuously for 24 hours, the dried coconut fiber are soft and fluffy, dried coconut coir is evenly dried, achieving good results.
Indonesia is tropical climate and has abundant coconut resources, but because of high humidity, the efficiency of solar drying of coconut coir is low. Indonesian customers purchased a coconut coir drying production line with a processing capacity of 2.5 tons per hour to reduce the moisture of coconut coir from 70% to 15%. The heat source uses a coconut shell biomass burner, and the dryer is equipped with a preheat recovery function, reducing energy consumption by 30% compared to the old system. The dried exhaust gas passes through a cyclone dust removal system, making it more environmentally friendly.
The Sri Lankan customer purchased a coconut coir drying system from our company, capable of producing 1 ton of material per hour, for the production of coconut coir blocks. Due to the customer's previous use of natural drying, the drying was uneven, resulting in poor quality of the produced coconut coir blocks. Therefore, when selecting the model, the customer had high requirements for the uniformity and quality of the finished product. This coconut coir drying system is equipped with an automatic moisture monitoring system, ensuring the uniformity of moisture in the finished product. The dried coconut coir is subsequently used for the production of coconut coir blocks for export to the Middle East and Europe. Also, due to the use of a three-cylinder dryer, the footprint is reduced by 20% compared to a single-cylinder dryer.
The project is located in a cocopeat processing plant in Ben Tre Province, Vietnam. The entire system adopts a three-pass drum dryer structure, with a processing capacity of 2 tons of wet cocopeat per hour. The moisture content of the raw material is reduced from 65% to below 15%, and then it is used for export packaging. The cocopeat drying plant uses a biomass hot-air furnace fueled by coconut shells and wood chips. Customers have provided feedback on fast drying speed, low energy consumption, and uniform moisture content in the product. The dried cocopeat is mainly exported to South Korea and Japan.
In addition to the above, we have many successful cases of coconut coir drying. If you are interested in the coconut coir drying project, feel free to contact us to visit our nearby factory.
Pulp is the raw material for making paper and cardboard, which is a fiber material made from plants (such as wood, cotton, agricultural waste) or recycled paper, and is formed by decomposing and mixing with water. Wet pulp is a fiber suspension with high
In sugarcane sugar factories, after extracting sugar from sugarcane juice, the remaining sugarcane bagasse can be used as fuel for power plants or boilers. Sugarcane bagasse usually contains 48% to 52% moisture, and due to the energy consumption required
As ethanol production increases, the supply of distiller's grains also increases. Distilled grains are waste produced by distilleries after alcohol production, containing a high amount of fiber and protein, with protein content ranging from 25-35%. After
The steam tube rotary dryer is a type of rotary dryer, which consists of a tube heat exchanger, inlet and outlet center tubes, rotating drum, feeding and discharging devices, induced draft fan, dust collector, and distribution cabinet. Unlike traditional
