In the process of chicken breeding, in addition to feeding, the management of the chicken house is also very important. Chickens will excrete feces every day during their growth. If these chicken feces are not processed in time, they will not only cause pollution to the breeding environment, but also cause pollution to the breeding environment. It can induce diseases and have a great impact on the health of chickens. So how to deal with chicken manure in chicken farms?
1. Drying method
Drying methods are divided into high-temperature rapid drying and natural drying methods.
High-temperature drying refers to heating in a non-stop running chicken manure dryer. At a high temperature of 500 degrees Celsius, the moisture content is reduced to less than 13% in a short period of time, and then it can be used as feed.
The natural drying method is mostly used by farmers. Rice bran is mixed into chicken manure and exposed to the sun naturally. After drying, impurities are screened out and stored in bags or placed in a dry place for later use.
2. Fermentation method
Fermentation method is divided into mix fermentation and mechanical fermentation.
Mixing fermentation means that chicken manure and other feeds are evenly mixed in a certain proportion and then fermented. Equal amounts of fresh chicken manure, rice bran, and crushed green feed are evenly mixed, sprayed with clean water until the water content reaches about 60%, and then put into a tank or In a brick pool, seal it with plastic sheeting after compaction.
Mechanical fermentation uses a chicken manure regenerated feed fermentation machine for fermentation. The fermentation time takes about half a day. This method is suitable for small and medium-sized chicken farms.
3. Silage method
Mix 50-65% fresh chicken manure, chopped green feed, 25% nuclear grass feed, and 10% rice bran. Control the moisture content at about 60%. After compacting and sealing, it will be ready in 30-45 days. Available for feeding cattle, sheep and pigs.
4. Puffing method
Also known as the thermal spray method, the fresh chicken manure is first dried until the moisture content is less than 30%, and then placed in a sealed puffing equipment, heated to about 200 degrees Celsius, with a pressure range of 8-15kg per square meter, and processed for 3-4 minutes. , the chicken manure is sprayed out quickly, and the volume can be increased by about 30% compared to the original volume. After being processed by the puffing method, the organic matter digestibility of chicken manure will increase by about 10%. As for the high mineral content, low energy, low quality of crude protein and some drug residues in chicken manure, they can be solved in the feed mix.
