Yeast is the residue produced in the process of brewing beer. Yeast contains a variety of nutrients and can be used as feed to feed livestock and enhance their ability to resist diseases. However, due to the relatively high moisture content of yeast, it is inconvenient to transport and feed directly, so the yeast can be dried with a yeast dryer, which is convenient for the recycling and reuse of yeast in the later stage.

What are the characteristics of the yeast dryer?
1. The heat transfer mechanism of the yeast dryer is heat conduction, and the heat transfer direction remains consistent throughout the operation cycle. Except for the heat dissipation of the cover and the loss of heat radiation, the rest of the heat is used for the evaporation of moisture in the material film of the barrel, and the thermal efficiency can reach 70 -80%.
2. Large operating flexibility and wide applicability. Many drying parameters of the yeast dryer can be adjusted, such as the concentration of the feed material, the thickness of the coating material film, the temperature of the heating medium, the rotation speed of the drum, etc., all of which can change the drying efficiency of the yeast dryer, and many factors have nothing to do with each other. This brings great convenience to the yeast drying operation, so that it can adapt to the drying of various materials and the requirements of different yields.
3. The drying cycle of materials is generally only 10-300 seconds, which is suitable for heat-sensitive materials.
4. Since the material film applied to the cylinder wall is very thin, generally 0.3-1.5mm, and the heat and mass transfer directions are consistent, the surface of the material film can maintain an evaporation strength of 20-70kg.H2O/m2.h.
Yeast dryer has a wide range of applications, not only for beer yeast, but also for drying of various slurries. This system equipment is also suitable for drying in food, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries. If you are interested in our yeast dryer, please feel free to contact us.
Pulp is the raw material for making paper and cardboard, which is a fiber material made from plants (such as wood, cotton, agricultural waste) or recycled paper, and is formed by decomposing and mixing with water. Wet pulp is a fiber suspension with high
In sugarcane sugar factories, after extracting sugar from sugarcane juice, the remaining sugarcane bagasse can be used as fuel for power plants or boilers. Sugarcane bagasse usually contains 48% to 52% moisture, and due to the energy consumption required
As ethanol production increases, the supply of distiller's grains also increases. Distilled grains are waste produced by distilleries after alcohol production, containing a high amount of fiber and protein, with protein content ranging from 25-35%. After
The steam tube rotary dryer is a type of rotary dryer, which consists of a tube heat exchanger, inlet and outlet center tubes, rotating drum, feeding and discharging devices, induced draft fan, dust collector, and distribution cabinet. Unlike traditional
