A complete coal slurry drying project in Russia, constructed by Zhengzhou Jiutian Machinery, has recently entered stable, full-scale production following the completion of on-site equipment installation and integrated system commissioning.
Located in a Russian coal-producing region, the project addresses the challenges faced by local coal washing operations, which generate vast quantities of high-moisture coal slurry that are difficult to stockpile or transport over long distances. Local enterprises urgently required a comprehensive drying solution to enable the resource utilization of this slurry. Jiutian’s technical team developed a customized, integrated drying solution tailored to the region's frigid climate, the specific properties of the coal slurry, and the site conditions. The system comprises a rotary dryer, a sealed dust removal unit, a dedicated heat source, and an intelligent control system.
The coal slurry dryer features structural optimizations designed for cold northern environments. A sealed, negative-pressure drying process combined with a robust exhaust treatment system ensures compliance with local environmental regulations. Anti-sticking designs within the dryer drum handle highly viscous slurry, ensuring continuous, long-term operation, while an intelligent control system allows local operators to precisely manage the moisture content of the final product, thereby enhancing the value of the recovered coal slurry.
During the implementation phase, Jiutian dispatched a professional technical team to the site to oversee installation and commissioning. Despite challenges such as cross-border logistics and climatic differences, the team worked closely with the Russian client to complete equipment integration and trial runs. Currently, all operational parameters meet the original design specifications, earning the client's approval.
With years of expertise in drying equipment manufacturing, Zhengzhou Jiutian has successfully delivered complete drying projects to markets across Russia, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia. Moving forward, the company remains committed to optimizing drying solutions tailored to diverse regional operating conditions, leveraging reliable, domestically manufactured equipment to support the green, circular development of industrial and mining enterprises worldwide.
