The drum paper pulp dryer uses the continuous rotation of the cylinder to turn over the materials inside the cylinder, thereby improving the drying efficiency of the equipment. The speed of the cylinder will directly affect the drying efficiency of the pulp dryer. What are the factors that affect the drying rate of the pulp dryer?
1. Moisture content of drying materials. If the moisture content of the drying material is too high, it will be harder to dry because the material needs to absorb more heat during the drying process, which will cause the material to stay inside the cylinder for more time before it can be dried. The moisture in the material evaporates. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the speed of the pulp dryer drum. Therefore, in order to reduce equipment energy consumption and improve equipment production efficiency, it is necessary to dehydrate materials with high moisture content, which can increase the equipment cylinder speed and shorten the drying time.
2. Drying temperature. In the pulp dryer production operation, the drying temperature will also affect the rotation speed of the cylinder. If the drying temperature is high, the moisture in the material will evaporate more easily, and the rotation speed of the cylinder should be increased accordingly. However, if the drying temperature is too low, it is necessary to reduce the rotation speed of the cylinder, so as to extend the residence time of the material in the cylinder and ensure the quality of the material after drying.
3. Air volume and speed. During the drying process of the pulp dryer, the moisture of the material is evaporated mainly through heat transfer, which is achieved by the contact between the material and hot air. If the air volume and wind speed flow inside the cylinder are fast, the materials can better contact with the hot air, speeding up the drying speed of the materials, thus increasing the rotation speed of the cylinder. If the air volume and speed are low, the flow speed inside the cylinder will be slow, which will reduce the drying speed, and the rotation speed of the cylinder needs to be slowed down.
4. Drying process. The barrel of the pulp dryer is equipped with a special dispersing device and a material guide system, which can disperse and stir the incoming materials, speed up the mixing contact between the materials and the hot air, and prevent the materials from sticking to each other. It can also improve heat energy utilization and drying efficiency.
In order to improve the drying efficiency of the drum pulp dryer, it is necessary to strictly follow the manufacturer's operating instructions and specifications, so as to better ensure the production operation of the equipment, and at the same time reduce the frequency of equipment failures, reduce maintenance costs, and extend the equipment life. service life.
