Alfalfa is one of the famous fine grasses, rich in protein, crude fiber, vitamins and trace elements. Drying alfalfa is a common method for long-term storage of alfalfa or processing of silage. The moisture content of dried alfalfa is about 12%, which meets the requirements of alfalfa storage or silage processing and production. How to dry alfalfa?

Alfalfa drying machine commonly use three-layer rotary drum dryers. The equipment has large output, high efficiency and energy saving, and a small footprint. It is especially suitable for drying high-moisture materials such as pasture when used with a clean hot air stove. It can quickly dry the alfalfa moisture from 65-75% to 14-18%. The dried grass retains the nutrients of the grass, has bright color and fragrant smell.
The material flow is as follows: the forage with a moisture content of about 45-75% is sent to the drum by the conveyor to achieve downstream drying. The forage is continuously picked up and scattered under the inner layer of the lifting plate and advances in a spiral manner, passing through the inner, middle and outer three layers. layer to achieve heat exchange between the grass and the hot air. The dry grass moves quickly and is discharged from the roller under the action of the wind. The wet grass that has not yet reached the drying effect cannot travel quickly due to its own weight. The grass is fully dried within the control stroke, thus achieving drying effect: the moisture content of the forage is reduced to 14-18% (customer requirements), the drying process is completed, and it is discharged by the screw conveyor. A special removal device is installed inside the drum to prevent uneven drying of the grass.
The overall process is: the forage dryer is equipped with an indirect clean hot air stove. The clean air is pressurized by the blower and enters the heat exchanger for heating. The temperature reaches 150-350°C. It is sucked into the dryer by the induced draft fan behind the dryer to dry the materials and evaporates. The moisture and temperature are reduced to 35-55°C and discharged from the dryer. The dusty moisture is purified by the dust collector and discharged to the standard.

Livestock farms generate a large amount of pollutants every day, including cow dung, urine, and other contaminants, with a moisture content ranging from 85% to 90%. These pollutants contain a substantial amount of undigested organic matter and insect eggs
Empty fruit bunches (EFB) are fibrous agricultural waste left over from palm oil extraction and can be processed into biomass fuel. The initial moisture content of palm fruit bunches is usually high (55-65%), and the moisture needs to be reduced to 15% be
Sawdust pellets are a type of biomass fuel with high density and high calorific value, it can replace traditional fossil fuels, reduce pollution, and achieve resource recycling. To produce sawdust pellets, drying is usually an indispensable step, because
