When using a sawdust dryer to dry sawdust, since the main process principle of the sawdust dryer is to evaporate and dry the moisture in the material through heat exchange, heat is a key part of the sawdust drying operation. In the actual production process, due to the influence of various factors, heat loss often occurs in the drying process of wood chips. So, how can we reduce the heat loss of the sawdust dryer?

1. Ensure that the fuel is fully burned
For the sawdust dryer, the combustion furnace is an essential component equipment. According to the calorific value of different fuels, adding fuel to the combustion furnace correctly is the basic premise to ensure the full use of heat. If we add too much fuel to the hot blast stove, it is likely to cause a sweltering fire phenomenon due to the thick fuel layer, which not only wastes a lot of resources, but also causes heat loss. Therefore, the rational use of the hot blast stove is an important condition to reduce the heat loss of the sawdust dryer.
2. Reduce the evaporation load of the sawdust dryer
If the water content of the sawdust to be processed is too large, we can use dehydration equipment for pre-dehydration treatment to increase the solid content of the material, thereby reducing the evaporation load of the sawdust dryer equipment and ensuring full utilization of heat.
3. Prevent pipeline leakage
The heat generated by the combustion of fuel in the hot blast stove enters the cylinder of the sawdust dryer through the delivery pipe. If air leakage occurs in the heat transfer pipe, it will cause a large amount of heat loss during the heat transfer process, resulting in insufficient heat in the cylinder. Therefore, sealing the heat transfer pipe is an important measure to reduce the heat loss of the sawdust dryer.
