River sand is an indispensable raw material in the construction industry. However, whether it is the sand directly taken from the river or the aggregate of artificial sand, it must be processed by dehydration and drying equipment before it can be better used. However, with the development of drying technology, the types of dryers have gradually increased. So, which dryer is better for drying river sand?
Under normal circumstances, common dehydration drying equipment has two types: single-cylinder dryer and three-cylinder dryer. The single cylinder dryer is the host as a single cylinder. When the single-cylinder dryer is dewatering and drying river sand, it directly exchanges heat between the material entering the drying cylinder and the high-temperature air flow in the same direction or in the reverse direction, so that the river sand can be dried.
When the three-cylinder dryer is dewatering and drying the river sand, due to its special return structure, the river sand is first dried in the inner drum of the dryer and the high-temperature airflow downstream. Under the continuous action of the inner layer of the copy board, the river sand is scattered in a spiral traveling heat exchange, and then enters the middle layer of the dryer barrel for countercurrent drying. In this process, the river sand can not only fully absorb the heat emitted by the inner drum, but also absorb the heat of the middle drum, and at the same time extend the drying time, so that the material reaches a better dry state.
When the river sand moves to the outer cylinder of the three-cylinder dryer, heat is transferred in a rectangular multi-loop manner. At this time, the material that achieves the drying effect is quickly moved out of the drum under the action of the hot air, and the wet material that does not achieve the drying effect cannot travel quickly due to its own weight. The material is fully dried in the rectangular plate to complete the drying purpose.
It is not difficult to see from the dehydration and drying methods of the above two dryers for river sand that the three-cylinder dryer is more suitable for dehydration and drying of river sand. On the one hand, the three-cylinder dryer has a stronger drying effect when drying this kind of river sand material with strong fluidity and good dispersion. On the other hand, compared to the single-cylinder drying equipment, the three-cylinder dryer has higher thermal efficiency and greater output, and at the same time has better energy-saving effects, creating greater benefits for users.
Of course, in the actual drying operation, which type of drying equipment to purchase, the user also needs to select the appropriate type according to their actual production conditions, so as to better ensure the drying quality and efficiency of the river sand.
