The flash drying system is used to dry particulate solids during transportation in a hot gas stream (usually air or combustion gas). A simple fast drying system includes six basic components: gas heater, wet material feeder, drying tube, separator, exhaust fan and dry product collector. Sometimes a special mixing device is used to send wet particles into the hot air flow, which flows upward along the drying tube.
Four factors that affect the production of flash dryers: material shape, material moisture content, medium temperature, wind speed/wind pressure.

Rapid drying uses heated gas to pneumatically transport the feed to the flash tube and into the main air separation unit, usually a cyclone. The air is induced or forced into the feed area by the hot gas generator, where it entrains the feed and flashes off the moisture during transportation. The product is fed into the throat of the feed area of the flash dryer in a controlled manner. The particle speed is about 80% of the conveying speed, and fine products require secondary dust collection, such as multi-layer, bag filter, scrubber and electrostatic precipitator.
The gas velocity must be greater than the free falling velocity of the large particles to be dried. The gas velocity relative to the particle velocity is very high. The thermal contact between the conveying air and the solid as described above is usually very short, so the flash dryer is suitable for removing the outside moisture (surface moisture) and not suitable for removing internal moisture. At the end of the drying process, install a dust separation device.
It must comply with pollution control regulations. For this, cyclones, fabric filters, electrostatic precipitators, wet scrubbers, and fabric filters can be selected. Flash dryers are used in various fields of chemical, pharmaceutical, ceramics, gypsum, wood and mining industries. The flash dryer has a simple structure, low investment cost and almost no failures.

Coffee grounds are the residue produced after brewing coffee. More than 2 billion cups of coffee are consumed worldwide every day, and most of the coffee grounds are discarded as garbage. The decomposition of coffee grounds releases methane into the atmos
Livestock farms generate a large amount of pollutants every day, including cow dung, urine, and other contaminants, with a moisture content ranging from 85% to 90%. These pollutants contain a substantial amount of undigested organic matter and insect eggs
Empty fruit bunches (EFB) are fibrous agricultural waste left over from palm oil extraction and can be processed into biomass fuel. The initial moisture content of palm fruit bunches is usually high (55-65%), and the moisture needs to be reduced to 15% be
Sawdust pellets are a type of biomass fuel with high density and high calorific value, it can replace traditional fossil fuels, reduce pollution, and achieve resource recycling. To produce sawdust pellets, drying is usually an indispensable step, because
