Empty palm fruit bunches (EFB) are waste products from palm oil production and processing, and are the fibrous outer skin part. Globally, palm oil production is a huge industry, and with the prosperity of this industry, there is also a large amount of palm fruit bunches.
Palm fruit bunches are oily and piled up to breed bacteria and cause environmental pollution. We can process palm fruit bunches into pellets for resource processing.
Palm fruit bunches are a natural biomass resource. Through the efb pellet production line, they are converted into biomass fuel, which can be used for power generation, heating and cooking, and are an important source of renewable energy. This helps reduce dependence on fossil fuels and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The following are the main steps to make efb pellets:
Collection and pretreatment: Palm fruit bunches first need to be collected and properly pretreated to remove impurities to ensure the purity of the raw materials.
Crushing process: The collected empty fruit bunches are initially crushed by a crusher or crusher. The purpose of this step is to break the larger empty fruit bunch materials into smaller particles or fragments for subsequent processing.
Drying process: Due to the high moisture content of empty fruit bunches, a biomass dryer is needed to reduce the moisture content to 10%-15%, which helps to improve the quality and combustion efficiency of the pellets.
Pelleting process: The dried empty fruit bunch raw materials are sent to the pellet machine for pressing. The pellet machine presses the material into pellets of a certain diameter through high pressure, and the common particle size is 6-8mm.
Cooling and Packaging: The pellets pass through a cooling system to reduce their temperature, and are collected and packaged for sale and use.
The palm fruit bunch processing process can effectively reduce the accumulation of these wastes, reduce land pollution and fire risks. By converting it into useful products, palm fruit bunches are no longer an environmental burden, but a valuable resource. Jiutian is a professional biomass pellet production line manufacturer, and its equipment is exported to many countries in Europe, Southeast Asia, America, etc. If you are interested in our equipment, please feel free to contact us.
Potato starch residue, a byproduct of potato processing, is often considered waste. However, with the right approach, it can be transformed into a profitable resource. One of the most effective ways to monetize potato starch residue is by using a potato r
The coal slime dryer is a specialized industrial equipment designed to reduce the moisture content in coal slime, a by-product of coal washing and processing. With the increasing demand for efficient energy utilization and environmental protection, the co
South America is endowed with abundant biomass resources that offer immense potential for renewable energy. The continent’s rich forests, expansive agricultural lands, and energy crops provide an excellent foundation for a robust biomass pellet production
Okara, also known as soybean pulp, is a byproduct of tofu and soy milk production. Although rich in fiber and protein, fresh okara has a high moisture content (about 80%), making it highly perishable. To extend its shelf life and enhance its usability in
