The wood chip dryer is a pre-dehydration equipment developed by Zhengzhou Jiutian for biomass pellet pressing of wood chips, sawdust, wood powder, and shavings. It can effectively improve the quality and appearance of the finished pellets. This system effectively extends the drying time of the materials and increases the The air volume allows the material to move with the wind. It combines the characteristics of an airflow dryer and has the advantages of energy saving, environmental protection, high efficiency, and reduced floor space.
Biomass materials such as wood chips, branches, and bark are larger in particle size, chip diameter, and length than wood chips. Smooth feeding and sufficient mass and heat exchange per unit time must be ensured to ensure the drying effect of the finished product. The drum of Zhengzhou Jiutian wood chip dryer is equipped with lifting plates and guide plates at different angles and spacings. This structure can ensure that the materials to be dried move along the movement direction of the guide plates under the action of gravity and maintain sufficient space in the drum. The residence time and sufficient dispersion allow the material in the barrel to fully exchange heat with the hot air flow from the combustion chamber. It eliminates the shortcomings of small heat exchange area and low evaporation intensity per unit volume caused by wind tunnels that often occur in conventional drying equipment. The special structure makes the inner and middle cylinders surrounded by the outer cylinder to form a self-insulation system. The heat emitted from the surface of the inner and middle cylinders participates in the materials in the outer cylinder, and the outer cylinder is at the low temperature end of the hot air flow. Therefore, the heat dissipation area and energy loss of the cylinder are significantly reduced. The energy-saving three-cylinder dryer can make full use of waste heat, reduce heat loss, increase the exchange area, and greatly increase the evaporation intensity per unit volume of the dryer, thereby effectively increasing the heat energy utilization rate, reducing energy consumption, and meeting the needs of wood chips, branches, bark material drying needs.
