Macroalgae are very important industrial raw materials. Not only can they be extracted or used to produce iodine, potassium, algin, mannitol, methane, ethanol, light oil, lubricating oil, paraffin, rubber, plastics and other industrial products, but also it can be used as a new kind of bioenergy.
The seaweed residue dryer adopts a drum drying structure. The heat source can be divided into steam waste heat, natural gas, biomass fuel and other clean hot air stoves for heating. The specifications and models can be customized. The moisture content of the dried seaweed residue is less than 15%, which is easy to process, easy to store and transport.
Working principle of seaweed residue dryer:
The material enters the inner layer of the rotary drum from the feeding device to achieve downstream drying. The material is continuously picked up and scattered under the inner layer of the copy plate to realize heat exchange. The material moves to the other end of the inner layer and enters the middle layer for counter-current drying. The material is continuously lifted in the middle layer, showing a two-step forward and one-step travel mode. The material in the middle layer not only fully absorbs the heat emitted by the inner drum, but also absorb the heat of the middle drum, and at the same time extend the drying time, the material reaches the dry state here. The material travels to the other end of the middle layer and falls into the outer layer, the material travels in the outer drum in a rectangular multi-loop manner. The material that achieves the drying effect travels quickly and is discharged out of the drum under the action of the hot air. The wet material that does not achieve the drying effect cannot travel quickly due to its own weight. The material is fully dried in this rectangular slab to complete the drying purpose.
