Betel nut shell refers to the outer shell of the betel nut, which is usually a hard green or brown shell. Betel nut shell contains a variety of chemicals that can produce irritants and have adverse effects on the body. At the same time, betel nut shell also contains a large amount of organic waste, so it is considered a hazardous waste. In order to reduce the impact on the environment, betel nut shell needs to be dried for better storage and transportation. After drying, betel nut shell can be incinerated or further processed into charcoal, which can avoid betel nut shell pollution to the environment and save resources.
Betel nut shell dryer is a kind of equipment specially used for drying betel nut shell. Its working principle is mainly through a series of ingenious structural designs to ensure the efficient drying of betel nut waste. The dryer mainly includes a heat generating furnace, a feed port, a rotating drum, a filter drum, a material conveying pipe, a cooling drum and a discharge port. The rotating drum is located on the active roller, and the active roller is driven by the motor and the reduction transmission to rotate at a low speed. There is a feed port between the heat generating furnace and the rotating drum, so that the betel nut shell can enter the equipment in an orderly manner.
The rotating cylinder is designed with stir-fry blades to stir the betel nut shells and accelerate the drying process. A baffle is provided at the connection between the rotating cylinder and the filter cylinder. A small hole is opened on the baffle. One end of the filter cylinder is connected to the rotating cylinder, and the other end is connected to the material conveying pipe to ensure the smooth transmission of the betel nut shells. A block is provided inside the filter cylinder to effectively block impurities in the betel nut shells and ensure the transmission quality.
There is a slag discharge hole at the bottom of the filter cylinder to discharge impurities that cannot be filtered out. One end of the cooling cylinder is connected to the material conveying pipe through a blower to cool the material entering the cooling cylinder to ensure that the material will not overheat when leaving the equipment. The other end is connected to the discharge port to discharge the dried betel nut shells from the equipment.
Through the above structural design, the betel nut shell can be fully dried in the rotating drum. At the same time, the betel nut shell is fully spread again before entering the material conveying pipe to accelerate the evaporation of water. The function of the block is to screen out impurities in the betel nut shell to ensure the quality of the betel nut shell entering the material conveying pipe. During the whole process, under the joint action of the blowing pipe and the rotating drum, the hot air fully contacts the material, completes the drying process, and ensures the ideal drying effect.
Potato starch residue, a byproduct of potato processing, is often considered waste. However, with the right approach, it can be transformed into a profitable resource. One of the most effective ways to monetize potato starch residue is by using a potato r
