After harvesting the corn cobs, what should we do with the corn stalks? In the past, people spread the corn stalks out to dry, but this was not only time-consuming and labor-intensive, but also ineffective. Now, with the development of mechanization, people generally use dryers to operate, which saves time and labor, and also improves efficiency.
Straw dryers generally adopt a drum structure. By controlling the heating device, the temperature of the hot air is kept within a suitable temperature range. The high-temperature quick-drying process is used to quickly evaporate and gasify the moisture in the corn stalks. The dried corn stalks have low moisture and low nutritional loss, and can be used for feed or fuel production, realizing the resource and high-value reuse of straw.
In the drum, the hot air comes into contact with the corn stalks with high humidity, thus heating and evaporating the moisture in the corn stalks and taking the moisture away. At the same time, the hot air also becomes moist as the moisture evaporates. Next, the moist hot air will be cooled by the heat exchange device to condense the moisture, and then the cooled hot air will be heated again and recycled.
The corn stalk dryer uses high-temperature hot air to dry quickly, with a large processing capacity, drying dozens to hundreds of tons a day, and there is no limit on working hours. The equipment can be produced continuously, with high flexibility, stable operation, and high drying efficiency, and can reduce the moisture content of corn stalks to about 12%-15%.
