Yeast is an important substance in the beer brewing process. After the beer production is completed, a large amount of yeast cannot be used and is discarded or landfilled, which seriously wastes resources and pollutes the environment. Research has found that beer yeast contains a large amount of nutrients, protein, etc., and is a high-quality feed. However, in order to rationally utilize beer yeast, it needs to be dried using a beer yeast dryer.
The yeast dryer is made according to the characteristics and status of yeast. It is different from the original drum dryer. This equipment adopts a single-cylinder structure and uses indirect heat conduction for drying. The drying cylinder can complete the drying of materials by one rotation. It is an indispensable equipment for processing yeast materials.
During the drying process: first, the slurry is preheated in the preheating tank to about 50°C, and then the feed pump is input into the immersion tank at the bottom of the drying cylinder. The drying cylinder is immersed about 60-80mm, and the rotating dryer The outer surface of the cylinder is coated with a uniform layer of slurry. The steam pressure introduced into the drying cylinder is 0.15-0.3Mpa. The slurry is heated on the outer wall of the drying cylinder, and the moisture is vaporized and discharged by the axial flow fan. The drying cylinder rotates once and the material is dried. The flaked material is discharged by the scraper on the outer wall of the drying cylinder and falls to the discharge port for collection. At this point, the drying of the yeast dryer is completed. The dried yeast nutrients are preserved, have good drying properties, are suitable for long-term storage, are highly palatable to livestock such as cattle and sheep, and the economic value has been further improved.
Beer yeast dryer is suitable for drying high-humidity materials such as beer yeast and humic acid. Welcome to contact us if you are interested in our equipment.
Potato starch residue, a byproduct of potato processing, is often considered waste. However, with the right approach, it can be transformed into a profitable resource. One of the most effective ways to monetize potato starch residue is by using a potato r
